You are already breathing.
But when was the last time you noticed?
A.I.R. is not simply a book about breathing.
It is an invitation to notice what breath has been quietly teaching us all along:
You are alive.
You are being sustained.
You were never meant to carry everything.
And sometimes the next faithful thing is simply to…
Breathe.
Some things cannot simply be fixed.
There are moments when answers don't come quickly.
Circumstances don't immediately change.
The person you love still needs you.
Tomorrow still has questions.
And you still have to live today.
A.I.R. invites you to notice the room that is still there in the middle of all of that.
Not to escape life.
To re-enter it.
For the person carrying more than anyone knows.
A.I.R. was shaped through years of caregiving, uncertainty, love, waiting, and learning that presence still matters when circumstances do not immediately change.
Sometimes you cannot fix what is happening.
Sometimes you cannot take away the pain.
Sometimes the person you love simply needs you to remain present.
For caregivers, patients, families, and anyone walking through a season heavier than expected:
There is room to pause.
There is room to rest.
There is room to breathe.
Along the way…
Breath.
Presence.
Control.
Relationship.
Identity.
Rest.
Tomorrow.
Care.
Fourteen short chapters.
Not written to be rushed through.
Written to give you room to stop, think, feel, and breathe.
There is no prize for finishing slowly, coming back to it, or finishing quickly.
You’re free to move.
Read a page.
Pause.
Notice what is there.
Breathe before turning the next page.
A.I.R. can sit beside whatever else you are reading—or beside you when you are reading nothing at all.
Return when you need the space.
You don’t have to rush through A.I.R.
A.I.R. isn’t rushing you.
What readers are saying.
Everything I have experienced, but now it’s written in black-and-white.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Darrell W. Jenkins
Darrell W. Jenkins is a husband, father, grandfather, caregiver, and the creator of D.I.D. — Decide It's Done.
Since December of 2017, Darrell has been caring for his wife, Diana, after her brain injury.
A.I.R. — All It Requires… Breathe was born from that experience—not as a book about having all the answers, but as a reminder of something every human being already carries.
Breath.
Through the long days, difficult moments, quiet victories, uncertainty, faith, love, and caregiving, Darrell discovered the importance of creating space to pause, notice, and breathe.
He and Diana see themselves simply as pointers—pointing people back to God, back to one another, and back to the gift that has been with us from our very first breath.
